Amanda graduated with distinction from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and has spent her career working in first opinion small animal practice.

She obtained her General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2013 and joined the Priory team in February 2015. She has also completed an additional certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.

Based at Priory’s Reigate branch, Amanda has particular interests in soft tissue and emergency surgery, laparoscopic procedures and canine reproduction. She performs many of the practice’s more complex soft tissue and laparoscopic procedures and enjoys supporting and mentoring the younger members of the veterinary team.

In December 2017, Amanda became joint owner and Clinical Director of Priory Vets. She is passionate about maintaining the practice’s independent ethos and values, while continuing to develop the clinical standards and services offered to Priory’s patients and their owners.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking, boxing and keeping fit, as well as spending time outdoors and exploring the countryside with her Labradors.
