Nuria Terron-Canedo LV, MSc, MRCVS - Joins Priory Vets
Nuria graduated in Spain and after completing two internships in two equine referral hospitals she moved into private practice, working as the head of the veterinary department for the largest Andalusian Horse Stud in Spain.
She moved to the UK to undertake a Master’s project in ‘The Digital Cushion’ in horses with and without laminitis and then completed a scholarship in equine sports medicine and equine internal medicine at the University of Bristol. Nuria became primarily responsible for the equine sports medicine caseload at the University of Bristol from July 2010 and joined Priory Equine in October 2011
Her areas of interest are all the clinical aspects of equine medicine and equine sports medicine, and particularly upper and lower airway disorders, cardiac arrhythmias and gastrointestinal disorders in horses.
In her spare time Nuria enjoys cooking, walking with her little dog ‘Lua’, and going to the opera and musicals. |
