About Priory Vets
History of the Practice
The Practice was begun by David Hall in 1947 in Reigate largely as an agricultural service. Since then it has steadily grown into what is now a 13 vet practice looking after a wide variety of species in four different premises. As farm work has declined in Surrey, our equine work has grown with the importance of the horse in the area, so that there are five dedicated horse vets fully employed in the equine side of the practice, each bringing their own expertise and interests
Our Practice Philosophy
We take great pride in our professional vocation of working to maintain and improve the health of our clients’ horses to as high a level as possible. We aim to achieve this in a prompt, efficient, caring and professional manner, and one which can be trusted. We also strive to be approachable and informal, since looking after horses should be fun! It would be foolish to consider ourselves infallible. Should any part of our service not meet your expectations, do not hesitate to contact one of the partners.
